Dr. Edward Smith completed a Family Medicine Residency at UC Irvine in 1990 and is Board Certified by the American Academy of Family Physicians.  Although experienced in dealing with common medical problems, Dr. Smith's passion lies in prevention medicine and he integrates the latest evidence based research into his practice.  He considers himself an educator as much as a healer, realizing that the knowledge he passes on to his patients empowers them to proactively care for themselves and age successfully.
